Mark Colson BVSc Senior Veterinarian – Geraldine and Fairlie Mark graduated from Massey in 1981. He has ‘vetted’ in the outback of Australia, pregnancy tested cows in India, sailed the Indian Ocean, spent a number of years in mixed practice in the UK and settled in Geraldine in 1990. Over this time he has gained a great depth and breadth of experience in large and small animals enjoying the variety the job brings."Over the years the farming scene and pet health have changed dramatically and I am always aware of the need to exceed the new requirements and needs of my clients". |

Aaron McCullough B.V.Sc Veterinarian – Geraldine and Fairlie Aaron graduated from Massey University in 2001. Since then he has worked in intensive mixed animal practice in New Zealand (North Otago and Waikato) and the U.K. Aaron spent 2 years traveling (of which his favourite country was Laos in Asia) before returning to his home town of Geraldine in 2007.
His family sheep and beef farm is in Rangitata only 10 minutes from Geraldine.
Aaron enjoys all aspects of his veterinary work. He is very interested in helping farmers to improve on farm efficiency and profitability through monitoring programmes to help improve animal health and performance. These programmes identify areas on farm which help to improve reproductive performance, reduce mastitis incidence etc. thereby increasing farm revenue.
Aaron also has a strong interest in orthpaedic surgery in cats and dogs.
For leisure Aaron enjoys fishing, scuba diving for crayfish, white water kayaking, mountain biking, running, squash and the odd quiet beer with a few friends. |

Meg Catherwood BVSc Veterinarian – Geraldine Meg graduated from Massey University in 1993, and has since worked in mixed animal practices in NZ and the UK. She started working and managing the Fairlie Vet Centre in 1999. Meg has returned part time after maternity leave and is now mainly working out of the Geraldine clinic. Clients and staff alike always value Meg's enthusiasm and brightness towards her work. 'I am particularly interested in large animal vetting and always have time to have a yarn with our clients'. Meg is on the committee of the Sheep and Beef Society of the NZVA. |

Glenda Kellahan BVSc Veterinarian – Geraldine and Fairlie Having returned from maternity leave, Glenda is once again based in our Fairlie clinic taking up where she left off. |

Sally Duncan BVSc Veterinarian – Geraldine and Fairlie Sally graduated from Massey University in 2009 and has been working for us since. Sally originally hails from a farming background, and is interested in servicing our sheep, dairy and beef clients, but also covers small animals as well. |

Carol Seaton Vet Nurse / Receptionist – Geraldine Carol is a long-standing member of Aorangi Vets who enjoys all aspects of the job. After all this time, she is still working on the art of organising the vets. During her weekends Carol enjoys hunting and fishing – in contrast to saving animals. Basketball, golf, gardening and running a cattery keep her busy. Its a wonder she has time for work! |

Sam De Vries VN Veterinary Nurse – Geraldine Sam completed a diploma in Veterinary Nursing at SIT in Invercargill in November 2009 and has been with us since February 2010. Sam spends most of her time assisting the vets in surgery and cleaning up after them!
In her spare time, Sam enjoys singing and horse riding. |

Chanelle O'Sullivan Veterinary Nurse (Training) – Geraldine Chanelle is currently studying towards a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing through correspondence at Otago Polytechnic. She has also studied in agriculture and has worked as a shepherd and on a dairy farm before starting with Aorangi Vets in September 2009. Chanelle is a "circulating" nurse as well as working in reception (and doing copious amounts of paper work!)
In her spare time she rides horses, gardens and tends to her many animals. |
