Calendar Entry Form Conditions of Entry

ELIGIBILITY

a. The competition is open to pet owners of all ages, residing within the specified region/area served by Aorangi Veterinary Services.

IMAGERY CRITERIA

a. The images must be the original work of the entrant.
b. Entries are limited to one per person.
c. High resolution digital copies of all photographs entered must be supplied at time of entry otherwise they will not be accepted. These should be clearly named. The digital copies must be bigger than 2MB but no more than 6MB. These can be emailed to photos@aorangivet.co.nz or shared using a digital image sharing service.
d. A competition Entry Form must accompany each entry.

COPYRIGHT WAIVER

a. By entering the competition, participants grant Aorangi Vet Services non-exclusive, royalty-free rights to use, modify, publish, and display the submitted photos for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to the year calendar, social media posts, and website content.
b. The participants retain the copyright of their submitted photos.

c. The artist verifies that they hold the sole intellectual rights to the image submitted.

MODEL RELEASE REQUIREMENTS

a. All photographs that show people in a way which they might be recognised should, wherever possible, be accompanied by a ‘model release form’ stating the person’s permission to be included in the photograph and acknowledgement that there may be ongoing use of that image in the public domain. Model release forms can be found below. Failure to complete this form will be at the liability of the entrant.

JUDGING & PRIZE ALLOCATION

a. A panel of judges, consisting of members from our veterinary clinic, will evaluate the submitted photos based on creativity, originality, visual appeal, and relevance to the theme.
b. The decision of the judges will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process or the results.

c. Winners will be notified by phone or email during the month of September.

d. Three winners will be selected from the pool of submitted photos. The winners will be notified via email and announced on the Aorangi Vet Services Facebook page.
e. The winners will receive an exclusive Aorangi Gift card and a complimentary copy of the year calendar featuring their winning photo.
